Bose Wave 3 Remote Not Working

I needed this for a wave ii radio cd player i purchased 2nd hand.

Sorry to hear this is not working even after purchasing a new remote. Not sure of my bose model number remote but it had completely stopped working just all of a sudden. Original bose wave remote control replacement battery. I happened to find this solution online and decided to try it out.

Do you notice any sort of indication on the actual wave system screen when pressing any buttons from the remote. Clearly it has some kind of backup because i unplugged it for an hour and it still had correct time.

Ok i do not have a battery compartment on mine not on the bottom not anywhere that i can see my model does not have buttons on the case it is remote only. With the newer systems without control buttons on the radio it s nice to have multiple remotes to conveniently adjust funtions on multiple devices.
