Boiler Condensate Pipe Into Gutter

Boiler condensate pipe into gutter. We only had it fitted 5 months ago. Condensate should only be discharged into an outside drain if there isnt a means discharging condensate internally eg teeing into a waste pipe from a sink or washbasin due to the risk of freezing if terminated outside and also. The 3 4 inch pipe is sticking out about 2 inch and under ideal condition empty out the condensate through the downspout located about 5 feet away. Should we contact the plumber who fitted it to correct this. I could easily extend the gutter round the corner slightly and run the condensate drain along the extension wall and into the gutter where it would be out of sight and maintenance cost free. Not aware of any reg that requires condensate to neutalized unless going into a soak away then it should have limestone chips in soakaway and be 500mm from foundations.
I read that the condensate is mildly acidic and so should be going into the soil pipe.
